Words That Inspire Us
Service is the rent we pay for being. It is the very purpose of life and not something you do in your spare time.
In partnership with local community organizations [see SERVICE PARTNERS], WORKS’ Enriched Services Coordinators host enrichment classes and events in the community rooms that are a feature of many of our housing developments and connect residents to offsite resources and programs that help them in a number of ways. The goal of these services is to offer exposure and a platform that can serve as a springboard for residents to take active charge of realizing their own goals. These programs can make a real difference both to support individuals in their goals and in fostering a supportive community.
