Earth Cultures

Earth Cultures is a comprehensive model that promotes healthy families and communities by linking urban agriculture, edible landscapes, nutrition and access to safe, quality and affordable local foods with affordable housing communities in the heart of Los Angeles County.

A prototype, Earth Cultures features program elements: Leadership, Engagement, Action Driven Stewardship (LEADS), Real Food for Life, Seedscapes, and equitableroots and integrates best practices in community based food enterprise, environmental stewardship, and healthy communities with clear indicators to scale replication in housing communities throughout California and the U.S. by 2012.
